The facts date from May 31, 2021. The emergency services received a call for an address in Veldstraat in Meulebeke. They found the lifeless body of a 27-year-old woman in a dilapidated building. It soon turned out that she died of a drug overdose. She had a lethal dose in her body 36 times.
The resident of the building also appeared to be heavily intoxicated. The girl’s relatives filed a complaint. According to them, the man ran a drug supermarket, gave the girl the fatal dose of drugs and only called emergency services hours after her death.
