Germany’s handball players leave the European Championship with a win. In the final of the main round against Russia, the DHB team celebrated a tight, hard-fought 30:29 victory.
After the dream of the semi-finals had burst prematurely, Germany started the last duel in Bratislava with self-confidence. The offensive against Sweden, which was still prone to errors, was very accurate and built up a comfortable four-goal lead.
