D.fter the last two editions forcibly online, the May Day Concert in Rome is back in the mythical Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano. At the conduction reconfirmed for the fifth consecutive year Ambra Angiolini.
Organized by CGIL, CISL and UIL, the Concertone it is, as always, focused on work issues but, inevitably, this time it will also focus on tragic situation in Ukraine.
May Day 2022 concert: where to see it
Live on Rai 3 and on Rai Radio 2 from 15.30 to 19 and from 20 to 24. It will also be possible to follow the event in streaming on the website RaiPlay. The lineup of singers predicts nearly 40 artists.
As the organizers said in fact, «After two particularly difficult years of pandemic and in the current tragic moment of war in Ukraine, the May Day Concert takes on an even more symbolic and profound meaning: confronting the present to face the future with responsibility, vision and hope “. And, not surprisingly, the official slogan is “To work for peace”.

The guests
Great expectations for the band Go_Athe pop, folk and dance group that represented Ukraine at last year’s Eurovision. Leader of the group is Kateryna Pavlenko, singer already seen in Italy a few weeks ago on the lawn of the Allianz Arena in Turin. In fact, before the Juventus-Inter match, Kateryna she performed together with Gaia in a touching cover by Imagine by John Lennon.
On stage too the cast of the musical Notre Dame de Paris and, between one musical number and another, they will also alternate moments of reflection and comedy together with many guests.
From the science communicator Darkbeard X, to the journalists Riccardo Iacona, Giovanna Botteri and Francesca Barra. Last but not least, the presence of Claudio Santamaria, by the actor and director Marco Paolini, by Stefano Massini and by Valerio Lundini.
