Concerns about new eyebrows André Hazes Jr.: ‘Does he know this?’

André Hazes Jr. restyled his eyebrows at a very unfortunate moment, according to Tooske Ragas. “That skin has not yet had the sun and can burn on Bonaire.”

André Hazes Jr.’s latest attempt to generate media attention has been successful: he has had three lines shaved from his eyebrows and it is literally everywhere. However, according to Tooske Ragas, it seems that he has overlooked one thing, because according to her the timing of his new styling is very unfortunate.

Adidas hints

Tooske marks André’s new eyebrows in the Show news from last night. “Apparently new music also comes with a new look.”

Colleague Anouk Smulders, whose husband Edwin Smulders is André’s in-house photographer: “André’s eyebrows naturally have that razor… Hey, I think that’s what you call them, those little lines in his eyebrows.”

Evert Santegoeds: “They’re not from Adidas, those eyebrows?”

Head bald

Anouk: “No, there are indeed three, yes, it could have been, but now that all comments are open again under his Instagram – that has of course been different for a while – then you can expect all kinds of things to be said. Now the hints were a hot topic. I think this was a hit in the nineties.”

Colleague William Rutten: “Yes, Vanilla Ice had that. He was one of the first to have it. I think it was a hit back then. People always complain! Let someone have their eyebrows cut. Even if he shaves his head! He must know that.”

Sunburn

Anouk asked André’s copywriter about the motivations behind these dashes. “We asked Billy Dans if it had anything to do with creativity. He says, “I have no idea.” In any case, I’m not going to do it, but Dré should do what he wants.”

Tooske Ragas thinks that André has not thought of one thing: he flew to Bonaire last weekend, so she thinks the timing of those bald spots in his eyebrows is very inconvenient. “You have to rub this on well, because the skin has not yet had the sun and otherwise it will burn on Bonaire.”
