She was once the cheerful face of television Sunday: Irene Moors. Now that her TV career is in the guardrail, she is mainly sour and grumpy. “She behaves ridiculously”, says Johan Derksen.
TV millionaires who complain bitterly can usually count on little understanding. Irene Moors has also been complaining in the news lately. Last year she stood in front of the Shownieuws camera with a very sour face to grumble about the juice channels and last week she was very angry about Angela de Jong.

Apparently Irene is in a kind of mood, because now she is going wild again. The presenter has one little interview given to Private star journalist Jan Uriot and he posted it on the site on Sunday with the headline: ‘Irene Moors: ‘The book Carlo is closed to me’.
Has that head been pulled out of context? Not if Irene is quoted verbatim. She says in the interview that she no longer wants to appear in De TV Kantine: “It has been looming up in the media for two years now, but as far as I am concerned, the book Carlo Boszhard has finally been closed after thirty years. I like round numbers, so thirty is good.”

In any case, Irene is not happy about it. She writes in her Insta stories: “Decided to stop with the TV Kantine two years ago. Apparently this is suddenly newsworthy today. The headline is suggestive. I ❤️ CARLO. But he knows that himself. 😘”
Gosh, how excited Irene is again. The statement ‘the book Carlo Boszhard is definitively closed as far as I’m concerned’ just sounds cold and is certainly headline-worthy. The fact that the presenter does not understand that says more about herself than about Jan Uriot.

Was this it then? No! Irene has more to complain about. The former television star is also angry that the striking headline has been taken over by other media. Of course Irene has a point here, but by blaming media such as RTL Boulevard, Televizier, Vriendin and Story for not being able to think for themselves, you are of course not making yourself very popular.
