Competitors Lisa Harms confidently enters the Regional Eurovision Song Contest

27 artists wanted to go to the Regional Song Contest for the province of Utrecht, but only one could win. A professional jury chose Melanie Ryan for the song Back. And that makes her an immediate contender, to write singer Pearl Jozefzoon, Radio M Utrecht presenter and musician Conny Kraaijeveld and Bingo FM presenter and music expert Mattijs Franken. “Melanie Ryan has created a beautiful and balanced song. A catchy song that is well composed with an attractive message. With her stage experience, beautiful voice and accessible appearance, the jury thinks she can do well at the Regional Song Contest 2023.”
