According to the Canary Islands emergency services, two men were on board: a man in his fifties and a man in his twenties. Both were able to get out of the plane under their own power after the collision. As a precaution, they were taken to hospital for further checks. No one on the street was injured and other vehicles were also spared.

Fuel

The Tenerife fire brigade responded en masse because fuel was leaking from the plane. Therefore, foam was sprayed over the asphalt to avoid any risk of fire. Ambulances, the local police and the Guardia Civil also arrived on the scene.
