National Growth Fund method
The cabinet has set up an advisory committee for the National Growth Fund. This advisory committee works independently. On the basis of predetermined preconditions and criteria, it assesses submitted proposals with the help of external experts. The committee makes a recommendation to the cabinet. The advice is intended to indicate which proposals should be eligible for financial support.
Which proposals are suitable for submission?
In the first and second round, various ministries submitted proposals to the National Growth Fund in collaboration with public and private parties. In the current, third round, companies, knowledge and educational institutions, governments, civil society organizations and other parties could also submit their proposals directly to the National Growth Fund through a subsidy scheme. In the first two rounds, a total of 38 projects received a contribution or reservation totaling 10.4 billion euros.
