Commemoration in Coevorden, at the place where some Dutch soldiers stopped a German force majeure for hours

At the already blown-up Goselink bridge near Coevorden, a handful of Dutch soldiers managed to hold up the German army for four hours on 10 May 1940. A monument has been erected near this place since 2019. On Tuesday afternoon, several people laid flowers there, including Mayor Renze Bergsma van Coevorden.
