Move to Denmark
Vejle BK have signed central defender Stefan Velkov from MSV Duisburg. The 25-year-old Bulgarian has signed a two-year contract with the Danish club. “We are overjoyed that we have found this optimal solution for him. The coach, sporting director, the whole club really wanted to sign Stefan and will be counting on him. We are looking forward to this new challenge,” Velkov’s advisor Kilian Falk (B360 Sports Agency SE) explained “RevierSport”.
The defender himself told the newspaper: “This is a very, very professionally run club. It’s all great – really. I can’t complain at all. I’m just happy that I’m here and that everything went so smoothly.” Velkov moved to Duisburg on a free transfer in January 2021 and has played 22 games for MSV since then (one assist).
