You have landed! The first storks are back in Brandenburg from Africa – now spring can really begin.
In the spring, up to ten pairs of white storks come to the stork village from their southern winter quarters. They move into their nests in Linum (750 inhabitants), 30 minutes by car north-west of Berlin. The offspring hatch in May.
There is a lot of information for visitors in the NABU stork forge, which is open daily from Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Under storchenschmiede.org you can see Master Adebar live in front of the camera. By the way, storks greet each other with their clatter and keep enemies away from the nest.
