Every abortion is a failure. The failure of information, inadequate distribution of contraceptives, barriers among doctors or pharmacists and even something as banal as an incorrectly placed IUD. However, a society fails even more if it forces a mother to give birth to an unwanted child. The more vulnerable the mother, the greater the chance of something like this happening.
