The Nashville Predators season ended on Tuesday morning Finnish time when the Colorado Avalanche poured yellow shirts at Bridgestone Arena 5–3.
The Denver star bunch won the match series 4-0 and marched to the second round of the playoffs.
At the start of the third set, Nashville already seemed to be stretching the series for at least the fifth game when Filip Forsberg struck the hosts with a 3–2 lead at the end of the handsome pattern.
However, the festivities in the country town ended quickly when Devon Toews and Valeri Nitshushkin then scored a goal for the man and moved to the Colorado 4–3 lead.
5–3-Final readings blank completed Nathan MacKinnonwho hit at least once in each of the four games in the series.
Coloradon Mikko Rantanen and Artturi Lehkonen were left without points this time. The team’s toughest points were André Burakovsky (1 + 2) and Cale Makar (1 + 2).
With the defeat, Nashville’s Finnish players Mikael Granlund and Eeli Tolvanen would be free for the World Cup. Keeper Hair Saros is injured.
Granlund played as many as 22.46 in the match that ended the season, but was left without power points. However, the center summed up the otherwise valid powers in the playoffs 0 + 3.
Tolvanen’s role in Nashville remained quite small. The man only got ice time in the last match at 8.23. In the playoffs, the pier only fit into the lineup twice, but still scored one goal.
The Rangers were crushed
Pittsburgh smashed the New York Rangers 7-2 and took the 3-1 lead in the league series.
Alexis Lafrenière opened the game’s goals on its heavy beach as early as 2.06, but after that Pittsburgh hit the next four goals and the game was in the package.
Pens bombarded the star goalie who shone in the regular season Igor Šestjorkinin again for exchange. The Russian sat on the bench after the second set, after the puck had slipped behind him six times already. There were 24 booths for the man.
The first star of the match was again in Pittsburgh Sidney Crosby, which knocked the powers 1 + 2 = 3. The skipper has now scored 2 + 7 = 9 in four playoff matches. She is Brad Marchandin (3 + 6) in the playoffs second. The Colorado superpack is splashing at the top Cale Makar at powers 3 + 7 = 10.
The match series is interrupted for the first time on Thursday night Finnish time. Should the Rangers lose their fifth game, the 2019 World Cup gold hero Kaapo Kakko would be available for the Lions World Cup bundle.
