Two cars collided with each other on Wednesday morning at the intersection of Burgemeester Slompweg and Nijeveense Bovenboer in Nijeveen.
Police at the scene suspect that the low-lying sun was the cause of the collision. As a result, the drivers did not see each other. Both cars were badly damaged in the collision.
