The driver of the car that hit them was also a musician. After the cars were parked on the hard shoulder, the musicians turned out to be fine despite the collision. In fact, both the motorist following behind and The Gulls will be playing in a Sittard music café on Saturday evening.

The following motorist was eventually taken to hospital for a check-up, but not before a dinner date was scheduled for Saturday evening.

The musician’s car had to be towed by a salvor. The tour bus with equipment from The Gulls was able to drive on to Geleen itself. Besides a visit to the parental home of the drummer, a performance with recording in the Sittard pop stage Volt is also on the agenda. The police officers who helped deal with it were immediately invited to attend that concert.
