MUSTANG’s Autumn/Winter 2022 collection is inspired by the motto Berlin 90 and underlines the mood we are in right now. We never stand still, we have a constant urge for change and innovation, without forgetting our history and tradition. Berlin in the 90s was a crazy, wild city where everything was possible, full of creative people.
And here is Mustang now – passionate, open-minded and optimistic, with a drive for freedom and a calm composure that never stops the process and reinvents us.
Luise Hermann and Albert Sefranek were a great inspiration to bring together Mustang’s heritage and the increasing product innovation in the market. The result is a very exciting capsule collection (delivery date August 20th – September 21st, 2022). The focus is on a responsible washing treatment and a fabric made from organic and recycled cotton has been used. The selected fits and silhouettes reflect the sophisticated trend on the market and are the highlights of the new women’s and men’s collection.
RIB is in the air!
You can see it everywhere – RIB (delivery date: 21.06. – 20.07.2022). We think that a rib jersey goes perfectly with the Berlin 90 theme and is a real eye-catcher. A rib body was designed that can be perfectly combined with the Kelly Straight and a puffer jacket. Not to be neglected is the stunning rib dress with cut-outs on the back. Combined with our light nylon jacket, which will be available in two colors, nothing stands in the way of a cool summer night on the Spree.
The Grandpa Pants (delivery date: 21.07. – 20.08.2022) impress with their cuddly soft old-school checked fabric, have a medium rise, slightly loose fit with pleats and straight legs. Combined with sneakers and a slim-fitting denim shirt, this outfit is one of the absolute favourites. A smock dress and smock top with mom jeans present themselves as ideal companions for a trip through the streets of Berlin.
Flowers of Berlin
Berlin is known as a gray city, but not for us! We can see how nature is defending itself in every nook and cranny and have recorded this in the prints. We especially fell in love with the thistle, also known as the “thorny beauty”. This little beauty can be found in a wide variety of forms in our prints (delivery date: August 21 – September 20, 2022).
Berlin in the 1990s was a giant playground with no rules – endless freedom, endless possibilities. In line with this, our shirt dress breaks all boundaries and conventions with its endless possible combinations.
The inspiration for the outdoor collection are the cold winter days in Berlin – when the icy wind sweeps through the streets. The jackets are made almost exclusively from recycled fabrics and linings. The puffer jackets are filled with DuPont Sorona fill. Sorona is an eco-efficient, high-performance fiber made in part from annually renewable plant-based ingredients. It is not only sustainable, but also breathable and keeps you particularly warm. And best of all, it stays fluffy even after being worn and washed several times. A wide range of styles are offered – from short and boxy to mid-length with a drawstring waist to a long egg-shaped coat.
True chance – true denim
The clay-based Terra Dye Denim not only looks good, it feels good too! The dyes come directly from nature and are skin-friendly. No metal stains are used, only bioresins and natural enzymes. Thanks to a special dyeing process, Terra Dye Denim has high strength and color fastness. During the production process, 35% less energy is used and there are no fossil wastes: the waste water can be recycled and used in agriculture. But most importantly, it looks damn good!
Mix cotton fabric with super soft Tencel fibers, add some innovative EME fibers and you have the perfect pair of jeans – Tencel Blend Denim! The skinny jeans have a super soft hand feeling, low weight and are extra stretchy. And thanks to the EME fibers, it is guaranteed to always retain its shape.
All you knit is love
When the days get shorter and the air gets colder, then the season of cosiness has arrived. We find ourselves snuggled together on the couch and enjoying a large cup of hot tea. Perfect for the start of the season, we defy the cold season with our cozy knit collection (delivery date: July 21 – August 20, 2022). The chunky knit turtlenecks and knitted hats and scarves in various colors are definitely a must-have.
