The socialist mayor Jaume Collboni has worn this Friday endorsements of some of the most veteran names in Barcelona fashion, such as the designer Custo Dalmau and his brother David Dalmau, Oscar León, Pilar Pasamontes, Sergi Jasanada and Alex Estil les. They have staged a meeting in the Bruc Strasse cultural space, which was also attended by the Minister of Culture and Sports miquel iceta (PSC).

The event was promoted by Xavier de Balaguer, founder of the Concept Agency and member of the external support platform for Collboni, ‘Bo per BCN’, which integrates a hundred personalities from the city. The thirty professionals attending this Friday have expressed their support for the candidate and have wished him luck at the polls, just one month before the municipal elections on May 28. He was unable to attend in person and his brother represented him by being photographed with Collboni.
Custo Dalmau had already declared himself in favor of the Barcelona PSC by publicly giving his support to Jordi Hereu in 2007. The couturier created the Custo Line brand just like his brother in 1980 and evolved it in 1996 to become Custody of Barcelona, with which international fame came to him. Estil·les is his head of communication. Pasamontes is linked to the IED Barcelona school and the ModaFAD sector, while Jasanada is a renowned independent fashion photographer and León’s handwritten message t-shirts are a classic on the 080 Barcelona Fashion catwalk.
