For the last of their four most recent Wembley shows, Coldplay took on the music of one of the most successful British girl groups: Chris Martin and his band covered the All Saints’ two biggest hits “Never Ever” and “Pure Shores” – with prominent support on the final night . They were joined by Shaznay Lewis, one of the band’s former members and co-songwriter.

For the third of their four Wembley concerts, Coldplay did not cover All Saints, welcoming Natalie Imbruglia on stage, singing “Torn” with her and “Summer Nights” in memory of the late Olivia Newton-John. On the first and second, it was Craig David, with whom they performed his songs “Live In The Moment”, “Fill Me In” and “7 Days”.
Coldplay are currently on their Music Of The Spheres world tour. They also gave three concerts in Berlin. Our author Paula Irmschler was there and was enthusiastic, as was our photographer Erik Lorenz.
