After the release of the single The light that cuts across the beach made everyone agree, the brilliant duo of Sicilian singer-songwriters surprisingly returns with a second song. A few days after the publication, on November 3rd, of new highly anticipated album entitled Lux Eterna Beach. Self The light that touches… it is a manifesto song suspended in a dreamlike space in which Italian songwriting embraces the kraut-rock of the Seventies, Right hand guy And a ballad that talks about today and describes a social cross-section in a poetic and raw way, without ever judging.
Produced by Federico Nardelli and Giordano Colombo, the song, with echoes of John Lennon as a soloist, is a story without morals that photographs a country divided into opposing factions which however find themselves under the common denominator of incommunicability and fear. A small jewel in full Colapesce Dimartino style, embellished with Davide Rossi’s arrangementspast collaborator of artists such as Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, U2, Kanye West and Frank Ocean.

A triumphal 2023 for the Sicilian duo
Launch yourself into Sanremo 2021 with the now iconic Very light musicColapesce and Dimartino are returned this year with a long series of layered projects and ranging from music to cinema. Last February the return to the Ariston stage with Splash, an intelligent and catchy song that conquers not only the public but also the Mia Martini Critics Award. Then debut in front of and behind the camera in May – together with their trusty Zavvo Nicolosi, director of their video clips – with the surreal road-movie The spring of our life. An instant cult movie that wins numerous awards such as the Nastro D’Argento for Best Original Score and the Golden Globe.
After the release of their second album, the duo will leave for a tour throughout Italy in the main clubs. First stop on November 23rd at Estragon Bologna and then continue to Naples, Rome, Venaria Reale (TO) e Milan (Tuesday, December 5, 2023, Alcatraz). To then return to their beloved Sicily with the double date in Palermo and Catania.
