Coffee chat and cocktails at Harrods

Prada brings Milanese chic and Italian aperitivo culture to London. Last week, the Prada Caffè opened its doors on the ground floor of the traditional London department store Harrods.

The café, which echoes the brand’s visual hallmarks, aims to bring new dimensions to Prada and offer customers a unique experience, the brand announced last week. The Italian luxury label relies on velvet-upholstered sofas and armchairs in pastel tones typical of the brand, as well as a reproduction of the black and white floor of the brand’s Milan flagship in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

The Prada Caffè also relies on its Italian roots in culinary terms. From breakfast to the classic aperitivo, a modern interpretation of Italian tradition is offered, according to Prada. Those with a sweet tooth are also in for a treat, as pastries play a central role in the café and an ice cream stand is set to follow in the warmer months.
