Mayor Renze Bergsma of Coevorden has decided to close a house on Vincent van Goghstraat in Coevorden. A cannabis farm was found in the house.
The house will be closed for a period of one month from September 19. With the closure, the municipality wants to stop drug crime in the building. In this way, the living environment in the neighborhood can be restored and the reputation of the home in the drug circuit can be broken.
In this way, Coevorden wants to reduce the chance of illegal activities returning to the home.
