After the extremely hot day of Tuesday with temperatures of 39 degrees in some places in Limburg, it will be sweltering during the day on Wednesday at 28 to 30 degrees, Meteo Limburg reports. Wednesday evening the weather will change and severe thunderstorms will pass over Limburg with a chance of hail, wind gusts and quite a lot of rain. It cools down to about 20 degrees. Also in the night from Wednesday to Thursday there is a chance of a number of showers with thunderstorms. The KNMI’s code yellow will therefore be in force from 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday to 2:00 a.m. on Thursday.
