At the end of the evening, the rain and thunderstorms hang over North Holland. The showers will move from southwest to northeast across the country tonight.
‘Avoid open water and trees’
According to the KNMI, there is a chance of lightning strikes and a lot of precipitation can fall in a short time. “Avoid open water and open areas, do not hide under trees. Follow the weather reports and warnings,” the institute said. Traffic must take possible nuisance into account.
The showers are expected to dissipate in the early morning.
