The KNMI warns for dense fog tonight. Code yellow applies to the provinces of Drenthe, Friesland and Groningen. It can also be locally slippery on the road because it has started to freeze in some places.
Due to the fog, visibility can be less than 200 meters. The KNMI advises road users to drive more slowly and to keep a sufficient distance. The KNMI warning applies until 10 a.m. on Friday morning.
Other parts of the country are also expected to experience fog and slipperiness in the course of the evening.
