Code Red for “Upstreines and Floods” in Valencia: already 200 liters/m² in five hours

The Spanish weather service Aemet has announced code red for heavy rain and thunderstorms in the province of Valencia. For fear of similar floods and in October last year, when 235 people died, the civil protection residents warned in advance for the storm via their smartphone. In Valencia, so far, 200 liters of rain have already fallen per square meter in just five hours.
