The KNMI has also declared code orange for Drenthe and Groningen. The meteorological institute warns of ‘severe thunderstorms, heavy gusts of wind and large hail’. It would concern hailstones of 2 to 4 centimeters.

Previously, code orange already applied to Overijssel, Gelderland, North Brabant and Limburg. Code yellow applies in the other provinces.
