Code orange for wind gusts of more than 100 km/h: “Thanks to ‘canal rat’ this could be even higher”, 1722 activated

A large low-pressure area between Greenland and Iceland is currently creating a strong jet stream in the Atlantic Ocean. This has consequences for the weather in our country: on Thursday we expect a lot of wind in addition to rain. The RMI has already declared code orange for wind in large parts of Flanders and Hainaut. Code yellow applies in the rest of the country.
