In September, Netflix is bringing back headbands, martial arts outfits, and heaps of nostalgia. It’s the fifth season of the Karate Kid spin-off series Cobra Kai. Actor Sean Kanan, who played villain Mike Barnes in the third part of “The Karate Kid”, is also present.
Showmakers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg didn’t reveal much about the new season of Cobra Kai in their conversation with Netflix. One thing is clear: Daniel doesn’t want to leave the valley to the evil Cobra Kai empire without a fight. That’s why he has to ask an old friend Johnny for help again.

Also joining the cast is actress Alicia Hannah-Kim, who stars as South Korean champion Kim Da-Eun. Cobra Kai Season 5 premieres on Netflix September 9th. Here is the official announcement.
