Coastal tram runs again between Ostend Station and Westende Bad
At 6.15 pm on Saturday evening, De Lijn announced that the coastal tram was resuming work in Middelkerke and Ostend at a reduced speed. The track had been interrupted all afternoon by a fire in a switch box at Arthur de Greefplein in Middelkerke.
Around noon, the transport company reported that travelers along the coastline section could not count on the coastal tram for the entire weekend. Unfortunately, technicians managed to solve the problem relatively quickly.
Tram traffic between Ostend Station and Westende Bad has been restored in both directions and is starting again, but at a reduced speed.
Thank you for your patience! #the line
