Coast is preparing for the autumn holiday, which is actually already starting

Wallonia always accounts for a quarter of the number of tourists during this period. This is not yet noticeable in hotel stays, or at least not everywhere: some hoteliers are now seeing the number of bookings gradually increase.

No train traffic

And, remarkably, during the autumn holidays with us, there will be no trains between Bruges and Ostend for nine days. Not really a boost for the sector. The NMBS is using replacement buses, but understands that it is annoying.

The alternative is that the works are spread over fifteen weekends, resulting in much more nuisance.
