In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, everyone had a place to sleep in the registration center in Ter Apel, reports the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA).
On Wednesday, the COA stated that there was a chance that asylum seekers who reported on Wednesday evening would have to spend the night in a chair. That did not happen, COA said on Thursday.
Transfer to Budel
The hundred unaccompanied minors who were transferred from Ter Apel to Budel on Wednesday because there was no longer room for them in Ter Apel, will also stay there in the coming nights.
It is expected that everyone can also be accommodated on Thursday evening. “But the number of people reporting in the evening remains an unpredictable factor,” said COA. The pressure on Ter Apel remains “as high as ever”.
