Club Brugge lacks inspiration against Patro Eisden and has to play extensions
Club Brugge start with Larin in the rush, but above all they appear very sterile under the mine slag heaps of Eisden. Ex-Club player Stijn Stijnen offers all present Club fans free drinks for 90 minutes. It’s actually the only exciting fact for the blue and black supporters. In the fifteen minutes Mignolet has to intervene appropriately after a deviation on the home team’s free kick. The home side don’t really get into any problems in the first 45 minutes.(Read more below the photo)
Potig Patro Eisden gets the best chances
After the break, Club initially comes out of the changing rooms a bit more sharp, but even now the champion lacks inspiration to unlock the defense of Patro Eisden, from the first national. What’s more, the skilled Bounou fires dangerously at Mignolet as a right winger.
The game gets tougher in the last quarter. The home team can find things more difficult, although that does not create more danger at Club. Larin’s shot goes wide. Patro makes some nasty fouls and takes two yellow cards. But the home team also gets the chance to score the 1-0. In stoppage time, Mignolet had to keep Sam Valcke (ex-Cercle) from a gradually deserved 1-0.
