Club Brugge has reached an agreement with Stade Reims on the transfer of Mamadou Diakhon. The 19-year-old left-footed flank attacker immediately joins the selection of Blauw-Zwart and will be fixed in Bruges for the next four years. Diakhon debuted in May 2023 at the age of 17 in the Ligue 1 against Olympique Lyon. Since then he has collected 41 games for Stade Reims. In the summer of the same year he signed his first professional contract with the French club.
Diakhon also builds its name on an international level. The French youth international previously played for the U18, where he immediately scored in a friendly match against Germany. He is currently part of the French U20 selection.
