A large part of the cloud is currently hanging over Spain and France, can be seen on a satellite image from KNMI. The dust cloud is expected to gradually enter our country this afternoon.
The concentration of dust will also increase, giving you a gray haze in the air. You can also see extra warm colors at sunset.

Dirty
Except for a redder sunset and a haze in the sky, we will not notice much of the dust, Weeronline reports. However, it can occasionally rain in the night to Thursday. This is less pleasant for those who have just washed their car: with the rain, dust comes down, leaving a layer of dust on the car.
The Sahara dust will also make the sun a little less bright. Weeronline: “The sky is less blue and the haze resembles veil clouds.” The fabric contains small grains of sand, which even lowers the temperature by one or two degrees. But it will remain a mild day for the time being, with temperatures between 14 and 19 degrees.

Thursday cleaning
On Thursday the dust cloud will gradually disappear over our country; towards the south of Europe. You can therefore wash your car again with peace of mind, without worrying that it will get covered in dust again.
In North Africa and Spain they have more nuisance. There, the air at the Earth’s surface is also filled with dust, causing the air to turn orange-brown. In photos circulating on Twitter, it looks just like Mars.
