Closed opens first US store in Los Angeles

Closed opens its first store in the United States. The store, located in Los Angeles’ Platform mall on Washington Boulevard, will open on Saturday, the fashion label announced on Friday.

Three years ago, Closed opened its US online store and started working with a small selection of multi-brand partners overseas. “LA is where Closed started its US operations and it feels very natural to return here to open our first retail presence,” said Til Nadler, Managing Partner at Closed.

Nadler sees the location as “one of the most relevant and inspiring places for young creative people and the fashion industry”. Ready-to-wear collections, accessories and lifestyle products are offered on the 97 square meter sales area. The interior design combines “the sunny Californian environment with Closed’s European roots” – the store appears open and bright through the use of yellow, rounded shapes and striped patterns reminiscent of beach loungers. Large photographs of Italian vacation spots reinforce the summer flair.
