She oversees the only building in Leer that still reminds of the Jewish community there; the former Jewish School. A building that was bought 10 years ago by the Landkreis Leer, the regional government, and thus regained a prominent place. “We have a permanent exhibition in the building about the Jewish history of Leer, as well as temporary exhibitions,” says Bracht.
