Clip of their final show in Las Vegas released – watch here – Music Rolling Stone

U2 played 40 concerts during their Las Vegas residency from September 29, 2023 to March 2, 2024. Now they have shared a clip with their fans from their last show at the Sphere in which they perform “Beautiful Day” live.

The Irish rock band wrapped up shows at the Nevada venue over the weekend, where they performed their 1991 album “Aehrung Baby” in its entirety for the first time. At their final gig, U2 were accompanied by Daniel Lanois, who co-produced their classic albums “The Joshua Tree” and “Aehrung Baby”. He joined them on stage to play “One.” The group also performed a version of Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over” – a song they have covered many times at their concerts.

Now the band has posted a short clip from the performance online, in which they perform “Beautiful Day” and also express their gratitude for the shows in this special setting (which is also shown extensively).

Frontman Bono thanked the audience, saying: “We know many of you have traveled a long way, so we thank you for all the effort you have put in to get here. And he added: “Thanks to all the people who looked after us in Las Vegas, the incredible, hard-working people. Many thanks to our own crew. I don’t even know where to start with the names… We really appreciate it.”
