Climate summit chairman sees “no science” behind demand to abolish fossil fuels: “We will have to live in caves again”

Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber (50), the chairman of the UN climate summit in Dubai (COP28), claims there is “no science” behind the demand for a gradual and complete phase-out of oil, coal and gas to reduce global warming to be limited to 1.5 degrees. He also says that abolishing fossil fuels will return the world to “cave living.”
