It is a public announcement of further attacks on the Brandenburg Gate. The climate radicals of the “Last Generation” write in a press release: “Whether with fire extinguishers, paint buckets or brushes – we will always turn the Brandenburg Gate orange.”
And further: “We can clear up the numerous speculations about when the Brandenburg Gate will be free of the orange warning color again: The Brandenburg Gate will remain orange.” The color is a symbol of hope and a sign of new beginnings. For many Berliners it is more of a sign of the failure of the rule of law!
The climate extremists smeared the monument with orange paint on September 17th using fire extinguishers and a lifting platform. The paint still adheres to the porous sandstone to this day. Total damage: in the six-figure range!
