Climate change threatens hop harvest: will beer production now come under pressure?

Will a pint of beer taste less bitter? And will that beer also become more expensive? A new study warns of the demise of hops, a key ingredient in beer. Due to climate change, production is decreasing and the taste of hops is changing. And without hops there is no beer. Or is there still hope for the hoopoe? Beer professor Freddy Delvaux (KU Leuven) explains.
