French environmental activist Thomas Brail has been pulled from a tree in Paris after days of hunger strike against a highway project. French media reported that security forces and firefighters forcibly removed him from the tree. Brail spent ten days in his tent. This was set up in a plane tree opposite the Ministry of the Environment.
