From one Toluna search for Dyson it emerged that, speaking of the last few months, 45% of the interviewees declared to pass at home between 9 and 12 hours a day. But what is the air in the house?
Even now that we are slowly regaining our freedoms, it is very important to make sure that thereto the quality of the air we breathe in the home is optimal, preventing not only all those ailments deriving from an unhealthy environment, but also symptoms and discomforts caused by seasonal allergies. After all, perhaps not everyone knows that air pollution inside homes can also be five times larger than outside.
The importance of breathing clean air
Being able to live in environments where the air is clean and healthy has never been more important than in the period we are living in. Several factors are causing greater health risks, just think of theincreased particulate pollution and allergens, or viruses such as SARS-CoV-2, which are transmitted through aerosols in the air. For all these reasons, effective methods are being sought to make indoor air cleaner and thus reduce health risks.
Also from the Dyson research it emerges that for about 1 interviewee in 5 it arises spontaneously the association of air purification with technological devices that perform this function. Using a purifier is considered a viable solution to reduce pollution indoor by 39% of the sample. Survey participants recognize the benefits of air filtration and purification, but there is still little knowledge of the pollutants that are actually filtered. But while the knowledge of the home purifier is quite widespread among the respondents (71% of the sample, with 13% who do not know them), a limited number have one.
