The supermodel defined an era in the 90s. Now there is a Barbie doll of her with a dress that is reminiscent of that time.
Supermodel Claudia Schiffer beamed with joy on Instagram with her own Barbie doll. “I’m pleased to be able to announce one of the first original supermodel Barbie dolls of the 90s,” the 53-year-old wrote about the photos, in which she can be seen with the doll in a large bed. The doll is therefore said to be her favorite catwalk look from the Italian fashion house Versace.
According to the manufacturer Mattel, Schiffer wore the dress at a fashion show in 1994. The doll, which costs 85 US dollars (around 78 euros), was no longer available on the website. According to a report on the celebrity portal ‘People’, it is said to be the fourth Schiffer Barbie that has been dedicated to the model – but the first that is available to buy.
