Claudia de Breij lashes out at Evert Santegoeds and Rob Goossens

Claudia de Breij gives a big blow to Evert Santegoeds and Rob Goossens. She finds their opinion absolutely unrepresentative of what the masses of her New Year’s Eve conference thought.

The fans of Claudia de Breij were shocked yesterday: the cabaret artist announced that she is putting an end to her theater tour due to fatigue. This semi-burnout follows the harsh criticism she received at her New Year’s Eve conference, in which she spared her former colleague Matthijs van Nieuwkerk very much.

Claudia lashes out

Claudia later made up for that at Eva Jinek’s talk show table, but she had already received the storm of negative publicity. If RTL Boulevard asks her if the fierce criticism has anything to do with her current listlessness, the cabaret artist replies in the negative.

According to Claudia, that criticism does nothing at all. “No, that criticism was only in your world. It wasn’t in my world at all. It only came roughly from Rob Goossens and Evert Santegoeds. That was not the case in the real world, so no: it does not affect me.”

Rob sensation box?

According to RTL Boulevard presenter Daan Nieber, Claudia simply says that Rob and Evert have blown things up. “I don’t think so,” Rob responds in the show section. “That riot was one of the biggest events of the past year.”

He continues: “I think a New Year’s Eve conference is about all the big events of a year and if you don’t take it very seriously then it seems only logical to me that I make that point. In the end, she also put it right with Jinek by responding to it, so I think she knew very well that that criticism was quite justified.”

Evert also responds

Evert Santegoeds responds Show news back with a sneer. He states that on New Year’s Eve you could already see that Claudia was overtired. “When I think back to that New Year’s Eve conference, I think: yes, didn’t we already notice that things weren’t going well with Claudia? Because it wasn’t all that good.”

He continues: “Ultimately those ratings have been straightened out with delayed viewing and such, but we have not seen a very sharp show with a good answer to De Wereld Draait Door of which she was a part. I think that was already a bad sign.”

Burnout

According to Evert, it is not clear how long Claudia has been disabled. “We don’t know how long she will be out for. She has turned off her phone and she leaves it off too.”

Colleague Bart Ettekoven: “It really sounds like a burnout, because she started crying at the idea that she had to sing songs.”
