Junqueras: “The repeal of sedition has facilitated the return of Ponsatí”
The ERC leader, Oriol Junqueras, celebrated this Tuesday the return to Catalonia of the former minister and JxCat MEP Clara Ponsatí, and has ensured that the repeal of the crime of sedition has facilitated her return. In statements to journalists, Junqueras, who shared the Government with Ponsatí, has also demanded the “immediate” release of the MEP, who was arrested this afternoon by the Mossos in the center of Barcelona a few hours after her return, to as a result of the arrest warrant that the Supreme Court issued against her for a crime of disobedience when facilitating the 1-O referendum.
