Investigations by civilian police officers caught two drug dealers in Kreuzberg on Friday evening. Drugs and a high five-figure sum of money were also seized.
Shortly after 9 p.m., the police observed two men selling drugs on Kohlfurter Strasse.
One of the men was in a car, the second was on foot. The police checked the 23-year-old pedestrian a little later in Adalbertstrasse.
They found several bags of marijuana and a three-figure sum of cash on him. The items were confiscated and the 23-year-old was released after his personal details were checked.

The second man in the car also turned out to be a dealer. The police stopped him on Bergfriedstrasse. The 24-year-old tried to flee on foot but was arrested.
In addition to a four-digit sum of cash, the officers also found a large amount of drugs and two mobile phones on him and in his vehicle. He also did not have a driver’s license and, according to officers, was drugged.
The officials searched the man’s apartment with a lightning permit and discovered a high five-figure sum of money, a precision scale with cocaine adhesions, various notes from the dealer and packaging materials.
The 24-year-old was arrested before the search. He was brought before a judge on Saturday for an arrest warrant. He is being investigated on suspicion of drug trafficking.
