“People in my country are starving, they are suffering from the Russian attack,” said the 25-year-old defender after winning the English Premier League title with Manchester City.
He was comforted by his teammates. “Hopefully one day I can bring this title home,” added the footballer, who tearfully presented the flag of Ukraine during the victory celebrations at City Stadium. His country was attacked by Russia at the end of February.
