Citrus chicken – The flavor pairing of blood orange and chicken is unbeatable

Citrus chicken

400 g of chicken cutlets

1 clove of garlic

1 teaspoon of salt

a couple of grinds of black pepper

2 tablespoons of liquid honey

2 blood oranges

1 sprig of fresh rosemary

a few sprigs of fresh thyme

1 organic lemon

2 dl chicken broth

1. Place the roast slices in the baking dish.

2. Rub salt and pepper and chopped garlic cloves on the surface of the steaks.

3. Drizzle honey and the juice of one blood orange over the steak slices. Add the sprigs of herbs on top.

4. Grate the rind of a washed organic lemon over the steak slices and then finish by slicing another blood orange over the steak slices.

5. Finally, pour more chicken stock into the pan.

6. Let it cook at 200 degrees with the convection function of the oven for about 40 minutes. Use the middle level of the oven and bake the block potatoes on the same lower level.

Rosemary potatoes

1 kg of potatoes

2 sprigs of rosemary

olive oil

salt

black pepper

1. Wash the potatoes carefully and slice into blocks.

2. Toss the potatoes in olive oil, grated rosemary leaves, salt and pepper and place on a baking sheet on baking paper.

3. Bake the potato wedges in a convection oven on the lowest level of the oven at the same time as the citrus chicken for about 40 minutes.
