Citizens’ platform ‘Terra Futura’ calls on policymakers in an open letter to tackle new corona waves differently. According to the network, in the previous waves it quickly became clear that “a narrow focus on the virus, without taking sufficient account of all forms of health – physical, psychological and social health – is not the right approach”. Among the signatories are canon law professor Rik Torfs and well-known names from the cultural sector such as Stef Bos, Eva Daeleman and Peter Van Den Begin. One of the initiators is Lieven Annemans, professor of Health Economics at Ghent University and now a well-known critic within the corona debate.
