Next Monday, May 2, the Center for the Implementation of Public Policies for Equity and Growth (CIPPEC) will hold its 2022 Annual Dinner at the Buenos Aires Convention Center (CEC). The meeting will be headed by the executive director of the institution, Gala Diaz Langou, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sergio Kaufmann. And it will have the presence of more than 1,000 leaders from the public and private sectors, representatives of all levels of government and of each power, as well as references from the entire political spectrum.
In this new edition, CIPPEC will present the advances of Democracy 40: #40D, a project launched in 2021 that is part of a multi-actor, federal, multi-sector and intergenerational effort to build concrete public policy recommendations that promote the development of Argentina. #40D falls within the milestone that represents the four decades of the constitutional regime that will be completed in 2023. This anniversary is a reason for celebration but also coexists with pending debts, such as the constant economic crises, the stagnation of GDP per capita, poverty and inequality.
CIPPEC, with the accompaniment of the Strategic Council meeting for the #40D project, proposed axes on which meetings of co-creation with specialists and referents from various sectors and generations to advance consensus about what Argentina is possible and desirable for this generation and those to come. The six challenges posed are to achieve macroeconomic stability, achieve educational justice, strengthen the productive matrix, reduce poverty, achieve a fair green transition and have a solid and effective institutional framework.
The speeches can be followed live from 9:00 p.m. on the day of the event on the official CIPPEC channel at Youtube. And through social networks: Twitter and Instagram.
